Plants need different care as the weather changes. After rainfall, pause or adjust watering in a supporting home platform to suit the garden. Scheduling and weather features depend on the platform.
Bring your connection into the garden.
Matter over Thread connects the valve to a compatible controller through your home Thread network. Position the border router for suitable coverage and check connectivity at the installation point. A compatible Matter controller and Thread border router are required and sold separately.
A morning routine for your garden.
From morning pots to the evening garden, schedule opening and closing in a supporting platform. Start with a short session, observe the plants, soil and drainage, then refine the routine. Schedules are configured in the platform and depend on available device controls.

A light-blue face and dark-gray body form a clear, softly rounded silhouette around the droplet-shaped button and water connections. A quiet presence below the tap for small, recurring garden tasks.
Four AA batteries. More freedom to place it.
Powered by four 1.5 V AA alkaline batteries, the valve needs no power cable at the installation point. Follow the product instructions for polarity and properly reseat the cover and seal after replacement. Batteries are not included. Battery life depends on cells, operating frequency, environment and network conditions.
Open and close, from a familiar place.

A clear connection below your tap.
Connect the upper inlet to a matching 3/4-inch tap and the lower outlet to the garden hose. Shut off the water first, check threads and seals, then open the supply slowly and inspect the joints. Choose the correct BSP or NH/GHT fitting. These thread standards are not interchangeable.
A watering rhythm that follows your plants.
Pots, beds and lawns need different care. Where the platform supports suitable timing rules, plan shorter sessions with intervals for the soil to absorb water. Begin with the garden you actually see. Timed sessions and pauses require support from the chosen platform.
Everyday care starts with the details.
An IP65 protection design, inlet filter and sealed battery compartment support garden use. Check the condition of connections, cover and seals during installation and maintenance. IP65 does not mean submersible. Avoid immersion and protect the installation from freezing.
Leave room for everyday maintenance.
Leave access to the battery cover, button and fittings when you install the valve. Future seal checks, battery changes and filter maintenance should remain easy to reach. Shut off the water before cleaning or disconnecting fittings.
Care for each use, starting at the inlet.
An inlet filter and clearly defined fittings make the water path easy to inspect. Check the filter and connections regularly; stop watering before addressing a blockage or abnormal operation.
Choose the thread that fits your garden.
Choose BSP 3/4-inch or NH/GHT 3/4-inch fittings. Match the thread standard of the tap and hose before selecting a version; diameter alone does not ensure compatibility.
