JINK Super Gateway VRF — Matter Smart Home Hub

One gateway. Smarter control for an entire VRF system.

The JINK Super Gateway VRF (D02) connects supported multi-split and VRF air-conditioning systems to modern smart-home control. It links directly to the HVAC communication bus, discovers connected indoor units, and provides core climate control and status feedback through supported Matter ecosystems.

Matter Integration

Connect over Wi-Fi to supported Matter ecosystems and add the gateway by scanning its Matter QR code in a compatible home app. A compatible Matter controller or hub and a working Wi-Fi network are required.

Supported platforms shown for this product include Apple Home, Google Home and Amazon Alexa. Available controls, automations, voice functions and remote access can vary by platform, region, Matter controller and HVAC system configuration.

Supported HVAC Families

Documented system families include Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Hitachi, Toshiba, Panasonic, Hisense, Haier, YORK, Gree, TCL, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Midea, Bosch, Carrier, AUX, Samsung, LG, McQuay, TICA, Chigo and Trane, together with selected YORK, McQuay, Carrier and Trane chiller or water-source configurations.

Compatibility must be confirmed before purchase. Support depends on the exact HVAC model, series, control bus, indoor/outdoor topology, gateway firmware and required terminal mapping. Some installations connect to the outdoor-unit bus, while others connect to the indoor-to-outdoor or centralized-control bus.

Representative Connection Examples

• Daikin: gateway P1/P2 to F1/F2; the correct indoor-to-outdoor or outdoor-to-outdoor bus depends on whether the system has a single or multiple outdoor units.
• Mitsubishi Electric: gateway P1/P2 to M1/M2; TB3 or TB7 selection depends on the system topology.
• Gree and TCL: gateway H/L terminals connect to the applicable HVAC communication bus for the installed series.
• Midea, Bosch, Carrier, AUX, Samsung, LG, McQuay, TICA, Chigo and Trane: gateway A/B terminals are used with the model-specific communication bus shown in the installation manual.

Installation and Commissioning

1. Switch off power to both the gateway and the HVAC system before wiring.
2. Install the gateway indoors on a DIN rail inside a low-voltage control cabinet or another protected service-access area.
3. Identify the exact HVAC brand, model, system topology and required communication terminals before connecting the bus.
4. Connect the HVAC communication line and any supported RS485 integration using the correct terminals.
5. Apply DC 12 V power. The LCD turns on and the gateway begins searching for indoor units.
6. Allow approximately 2–5 minutes for discovery, then confirm that the detected indoor-unit count matches the installation.
7. Check unit address, power state, target temperature, mode, fan speed, room temperature and fault-code feedback on the LCD.
8. Complete Matter pairing and verify control and feedback from the selected smart-home platform.

Important Installation Notes

• Professional HVAC or low-voltage installation is recommended.
• Use the supplied power adapter or a reputable, correctly specified DC 12 V supply.
• Incorrect terminal selection or wiring can damage the gateway or prevent unit discovery.
• Do not route signal cables parallel to power cables where possible. If parallel routing cannot be avoided, maintain at least 15 cm between the gateway communication cable and the HVAC communication cable, and at least 30 cm from other wiring.
• Where metal conduit is used for interference control, ground it in accordance with applicable electrical requirements.
• Do not connect power wiring to signal terminals, and do not disassemble or repair the gateway yourself.
