Know when a space is truly occupied. T2 uses millimeter-wave sensing to detect presence—even when someone is sitting still—then shares a simple Present or Clear state with your Matter smart home.

Overview

Designed for recessed ceiling installation in homes, offices and hospitality spaces, T2 blends into the ceiling while watching over a wide area. Use occupancy as the trigger for lighting, climate and other automations without relying on constant movement.

Traditional motion sensors may stop responding when a person sits quietly. T2 is designed to recognize continued occupancy, helping automations stay active while the room is in use and respond after it becomes clear.

Matter. Ready for your home.

Add T2 with a compatible Matter app such as Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa or Samsung SmartThings. In Apple Home, the sensor reports a straightforward occupied or unoccupied state that can be used in automations.

System requirement: Matter over Thread requires a compatible Matter controller and Thread Border Router. Feature availability can vary by ecosystem and region.

Setup note

Power on the sensor, open a compatible Matter app, then scan the included setup QR code or enter the setup code manually. The installed open-source firmware may cause Apple Home to display an “Uncertified Accessory” notice during setup; follow the on-screen option to continue adding the device.

Installation safety

The AC-powered installation connects to mains voltage. Disconnect power before installation and have the AC connection completed by a qualified electrician in accordance with local electrical codes. If using USB-C, supply regulated 5V power only.
